Your Camp Itinerary*...



Kokyu White Pines
        After breakfast each morning, we focus on our daily aikido training. Then it's off to experience more fun as we explore the surrounding areas.



        In Vancouver, we'll discover the 400-hectare evergreen oasis known as Stanley Park.

        Here there's an array of activities to choose from including the world famous Vancouver Aquarium.

Lynn Canyon
        Another day will bring us to hike Lynn Canyon and journey across it's 50-metre high suspension bridge.

        For ocean fun we'll discover Kitsilano Beach providing a great swimming pool at the ocean's edge.

        While in the Kootenay's we'll experience breathtaking hikes up in the mountains and we'll explore the depths of them too as we embark on a guided tour of the ancient limestone Cody Caves with their spectacular array of formations including stalagmites, stalactites and waterfalls.

         Minutes from the dojo in Nelson is Lakeside Park on the shores of Kootenay Lake. Here we'll all enjoy games on the beach, in the water and under the old growth shade trees of this beautiful park.

         The location of lunch each day will vary depending on the city and the activity of the day. After dinner, participants will enjoy games and activities in the dojo or at the accommodation site.

What is included in the Camp fee?

    ground transportation to and from the BC airports
     and for all scheduled activities

    8 nights accommodation

    dinner the evening of arrival, breakfast the day of departure
     and three meals a day for 7 full days of camp

    admission fees to all scheduled activities

    a one-time laundry service in Nelson



What is not included?

    airfare arriving and departing from Vancouver International Airport

    mid-week flight from Vancouver to Castlegar, BC
     and returning home at the end of Camp

    spending money for incidentals

Our Cancellation Policy:

The following amounts will be retained for cancellations received:

    minimum service fee retained - $149 (Canadian dollars)
    46 - 60 days prior to commencement of Camp - 50% of the camp tuition
    45 days or less prior to commencement of Camp - 100% of camp tuition
